Support cross-border innovation between SMEs

Overall goal

The goal of Crossroads is to support cross-border cooperation between innovative French and Belgian SMEs. In the Grand Est, companies from Ardennes and Marne are eligible. Support begins with putting technical and commercial partners in contact with one another, and co-funding developments. Support for commercialisation is dependent on company eligibility for the 6 calls for projects.

Innovations in these projects must fall under one of the four pillars in common with the S3 (Smart Specialisation Strategies) of partner regions, namely:

Circular economy: Economic approach based on reuse and minimising waste.
Digitalisation-Industry 4.0: Integrating digital technologies into production for increased efficiency.
Healthcare: Improve physical and mental health thanks to medical services and prevention.
Sustainability (energy, water and raw materials): Meet current needs without affecting future generations.

Specific goal of the programme

Strengthen sustainable growth and competitiveness of SMEs.
19 million euros invested for innovative cross-border projects.
Up to 50% in subsidies for innovation projects, with a maximum of 250,000 euros per project and support over two years.
