GREATER GREEN+ project

The purpose of the GREATER GREEN+ project (Greater Region ecosystem to boost the ecological transition and economic resilience by developing greener technologies) is to ensure the Greater Region leads the way in terms of an ecological transition based on the circular economy and sustainable development, around five key focus areas: low-carbon energy, construction and sustainable renovation, recycling technologies, water and environment, bioeconomy.

Goals

  • Promote providers of greentech solutions in the Greater Region and support their development through innovation, internationalisation, digitalisation, etc.
  • Encourage the creation of new collaboration initiatives and/or technology transfer between partners in the Greater Region, to develop greentech based on the circular economy, resilience and economical use of resources (critical raw materials, water, energy).

Greater Green+ organises awareness-raising, networking, project creation and acceleration events that will boost cooperation and technology transfer projects in the field of greentech across borders. A digital greentech platform will promote available greentech solutions and training programmes in the Greater Region and provide greentech stakeholders with a space to collaborate, share information and opportunities.

Project partners

This project will boost the Greater Region’s reach in the field of greentech and is expected to generate benefits in terms of innovation and attracting talent (companies, individuals).

11 operational partners and 19 methodology partners from the Greater Region will put all their energy into ensuring the success of this project, under the leadership of Grand Est Développement.
