To address these major challenges, Grand Est Développement supports the region’s innovative transformation solutions, helps boost attractiveness and efforts to reindustrialise the area, and supports high-stakes, determining projects.

Grand Est Développement was created in 2018 by the Grand Est region and the Grand Est Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), and its goal is to boost the region’s economy. The agency is called upon to work alongside businesses and local authorities to develop public policies concerned with innovation and digital, environmental and industrial transformation.

The agency was created by the Grand Est region and the Grand Est Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI).
As a member of the Entreprise Europe Network, the agency guides Grand Est businesses in their search for foreign partners and in identifying European sources of funding. Some of the Grand Est Développement agency’s projects are funded by the European Union.
Grand Est Développement also works with economic development and innovation stakeholders in the Grand Est region. The agency rallies and supports these ecosystem partners who work closely with the local economic fabric.
Grand Est Développement runs 3 clubs: the club territoires, the club entreprises and the ESRI (Higher Education, Research and Innovation) club.
